For beginners, we provide courses in the studio during weekends and evenings. Day class or other specific hours can be scheduled subject to the numbers of participants. Teachers are experienced artists or those with recognized qualifications in arts or ceramics from local or overseas universities. Courses can be conducted in Cantonese or English. A brief description on the courses are listed as below:

C1001 Elementary Ceramics Workshop (8 sessions)
An elementary course on basic hand building techniques including pinching, coil building, and slab forming, and also the application of color and glaze.

C2001 Intermediate Ceramics Workshop (8 sessions)
An intermediate course on hand building techniques, mold making, color and glaze application, and firing skills. Students will learn to create more complex form by using various techniques.

C1002 Elementary Throwing Workshop (8 sessions)
An elementary course on basic throwing techniques on cylindrical (e.g. cup, small vase) and bowl forms, and also the application of color and glaze.

C2002 Intermediate Throwing Workshop (8 sessions)
An intermediate course on throwing techniques, color and glaze application, and firing skills. Students will learn the techniques of throwing bigger pots and plates.

F 005 Raku Firing Workshop (8 sessions)
An introductory course to the theory and skills of raku firing. Student will learn the techniques of making their own hand building pots and fire their own work in an outdoor raku firing in the studio.

F 006 Reduction Firing Workshop (8 sessions)
An introductory course to the theory and skills of reduction firing. Student will learn the techniques of making their own pots and fire their own work in a reduction firing.

Courses are offered the first week of each month, form Monday to Saturday. Please call for detail schedule.

We are happy to design and tailor-make syllabus upon the request of the students, schools or institutions. Classes are normally held in the studio. But it is possible for us to hold classes in designated schools or institutions subject to the facilities and number of participants. Please call for discussion and arrangement.
